I do not personally sell anything. I sell port work. JSS is a business partner the port work he sells is done here. The saws are on par. I have a few demo saws people can actually run before they buy port work. If you are intresting in running one send me a message. I have nothing to hide. I have no unsatisfied customers. If the day comes I do they will be took care of. I'm pretty open about everything I do. I'm just making some money doing somthing I enjoy. I dont claim to be the best or anywhere near but the saws run plenty respectable when they leave my shop. I'm not out to rip people off. So I spoke up.... I'm not trying to start a argument... If you disagree... that's fine... but I'm not one of the guys dremeling saws and charging premium prices. So I dont like being paired with them. I have done nothing to be put in that category.

I'll run one of your saws and I'll give it a fair, unbiased comparison to saws I have here from other builders. I have saws from five other builders - four who market most of their work on this site and one who primarily advertises on Facebook. I'll pay shipping both ways and I'll pay for any wear and tear or additional parts it would need on either end. I always test saws with brand new, off-the-roll Stihl square-ground chain so there's no whining.

My problem is with those who hype up things like ported Hozzlforma saws. Even if you put an OEM crank, bearings, seals, top end, intake boot, and ignition into a Hozzlforma saw, you still don't have a professional-level machine. By using tag lines like "These saws really rip!" and "High performance work saws" - that leads people to believe they are professional quality machines, when they're not, even if that wasn't the intention. I tried all the Chinese junk when I was working in the woods and I worked with Bailey's on the development of the big bore kits way back when, even providing them saws for R&D. In the end, that stuff just does not last in a commercial application.

To me a stock saw just doesn't feel right after you run modified saws
Yep everything stock feels like an 08s without the torque.

Although the 462 we had out the other weekend wasn't too bad but it was still only running 3/8 and not 404

The ks saws is one point kf wondering for me they seem to run 900-1150 range. Are these saws starting as farmertec kits and then having the oem parts added? If the 200t saw has oem bearings, top end and some other oem parts it still has the china crank which in my thoughts is more of a weak point than the case bearings. So while better than a farmtec is it worth buying this over a gone through 200t used?

I would like to point out. I dont sell, assemble or RD those saws. I was just pointing out what I have seen. Those are all done by Komidor Saws (Kenton Frank) that is what the KS stands for. You would have to talk to him about the logistics of it. But what I have seen he has put some thought and money into them. They are not just farmertech kits. Part of them are.

Ok and I know you don’t build but thought you might know what was in them for curiosity that’s all.

I believe the cranks are F/T or a diffrent aftermarket. The 200ts are loaded with oem parts even the top end. I've never asked specifics or itemized one to that point. But there definitely is some money being vested in them saws. I do not port the holtzforma saws. But I have done a few ks saws. I feel they are a decent product and the time has been put in them. I'm not saying they are oem saws. But Kenton has took a aftermarket base deleted what he felt was weak from testing and made it a respectable saw. I know some tree services are running them with very little issues.

That's 1000% true, most people don't actually get how rough of a life a saw can have cutting logs. I noticed even the aftermarket clutch covers can be more susceptible to cracking.
