I port these saws for JSS... The price is 350.00 yes.. I am also booked ways out. Alot of it being return customers.... So I feel that price cant be bad... My prices are set by the market and I'm a registered business so I have to pay the big G.....There is new saws on the way for R&D... If you know me you know saws will not be shipped out of my shop with out decent gains. To my knowledge no one has ever in the history of me building saws complained about gains. If someone did I would of handled it. The saws are not a 1/8 inch up with a dremel tool like stated above. They are port mapped and machined and ground with all cc speciality tools then polished....Do a search here or on YouTube or Facebook. There are videos and photos of my cylinders all over I'm not shy. As far as Ks483s they are built by Komidor Saws out of Iowa. A highly detail oriented saw builder. Yes they are pricy saws. But he puts a ton of RD in them and the price is drove up by a pile of OEM parts that he feels makes them a dependable saw. They are not OEM saws but they are far off from Farmertech saws. Some of the Ks saws like the 200ts for one.. even have stihl oem top ends. All ks saws I have seen have had oem bearings, pins, clips, boots... I do not port a ton of them most of the porting done for JSS has been oem saws but I have seen some and in my opinion Komidor saws does a very nice job of providing a dependable alternative to oem. But you do pay for it. I'm not trying to start stuff... last thing I need in my life is drama. But I felt a little attacked here.
