That is my next goal Scott, build a stroker in my homeshop, for a six cube build. I think my machines are capable, and I have a press, don't know if the operator is capable though!

I got back to work on this three cube crank today, the rings are now epoxied in place. I clamped the crank in the mill vice and leveled it, then cleaned all surfaces thoroughly, and fitted the rings with a thin layer of epoxy on all contact surfaces.

How do you plan to keep the epoxy in place when you go to filling the voids?

While the epoxy is hardening, I bored and reamed a hole the size of the crank stubs in a piece of plate. I will stand the crank up vertical in the hole, piercing a piece of cardboard, and then slowly and carefully fill with epoxy.

He'll probably tear it off and face the surfaces of the stuffers in the lathe...

I use foil duck tape in cylinders when I fill intakes and once it sets I just pull off the tape, works great and don't stick to it.

There's two sides of the crank, maybe Ill experiment and try two different materials. The goal is only to keep the epoxy from sticking to the plate, the crank will be chucked back up in the lathe and both sides cleaned up. \/
