Uscomposits.Com they will have any and all types of composite, resin, resin filler to lighten up the mass. Marine grade and aviation grade materials. I suggest checking them out

Thanks for all of that valuable info Scott, It gives me a bunch more to think about.

The 5000 that this crank will go in is a only a gtg racer, and a couple small shows we attend. They normally run hot over the wood timed, or head to head elimination. I am not concerned about the weight of the crank at all, it's real easy to lose more weight from the rest of the rotating assembly than what was added by the full circle mod.

Weight doesn't bother me either,the clutch and flywheel can easily be lightened if your worried about weight.

Back to work...........

I put the crank under a center in the mill, and used spindle pressure to hold it down firmly and squarely onto the plate. Then just filled the voids with jb weld, being careful not to get any on the rod or bearings.

While I was mixing epoxy, I put the rings in place on J's 066 crank. They're a bit thicker than the other.
