He!! , I Get into Arguements with myselves, until some unsuspecting twit gives us a breather.

I end up just smacking the side of my head with the heel of my palm 'til one side gives up. People know to just give me space and it will get sorted out eventually.

Winter tires are the bomb, and true most drivers don't know the difference and think they can drive on summer tires in the winter same as in the summer.
No, You can not!
Blizzaks are the best tire i have found for my area
I drive as fast in the winter on all conditions like it's summer
my front wheel drive will push snow with the bumper and keep going.
I got 14 years out of my last set.
Take them off as soon as it warms up,and put them on once the temp drops otherwise they just dissapear in the heat.

I wish everyone tried them, there would be less accidents.

I'm a believer in snow tires, however this is Kentucky so we could have 8 inches on the ground today and then 60 degrees next week. In fact that is what is happening here right now, no exaggeration.
We had -10°C last week, then a jump to +16°C for two days this week just to have it drop back down to -8°C this weekend ending in an ice rain.

I'd rather be on winter tires from November till April than encounter -10°C ice rain a single time during this period on summer tires!

I drive my winter/summer tire sets about 50/50 throughout the year.

Continental WinterContact opened my eyes.

Same goes for my current summer set, Continental PremiumContact.

But, I read really good test results on the Blizzaks!

23.6 tons of precision machinery costing some 500k €uro - set up in what could be described as a "chicken coop"!
What could possibly go wrong?
Well, after over 30 days of vacation the machine cooled down below safety tolerances for safe operation and won't run.
The solution , heat it up with household grade electric fan less heaters.

Aaaaaand she's dead cold again. 🤣

Surrounding workplace temperature is +8°C, the machine requires to have a self temperature of over +10°C.

2 more hours and I am going home not caring that the machine did not work the whole AM shift, nor most of the PM shift.
THAT is above my pay grade!
