I was just gonna put the wild thing clutch cover on my ported 2900 and not let the other side be seen.

I got this...was a runner back in 2012 when I got it. Started tearing it down to do some port work then lost interest.

I did that to my 2900 a few years ago, all by hand, 9 hrs. of sanding on a flat surface, did the bearing journals with sandpaper on a dowel, lots of measureing.
I think I took .025 off, raised comp from 138 to 154.
More work than I would do again!

Yes they are only thing I can imagine him doing is taking the cylinder half cutting the flat surface in lathe and then reworking the bearing pockets on the cylinder side after that. Doesn’t sound real fun or easy

Local guy down at home has one on FB. Sixty-freaking five bucks but hey, it runs great and comes with a case. Steve said gotta use what it comes with so if I don't see mfers pulling your polished Poulans out of a case that should be a like or three demerit IMO.

Question for you guys, Are all wild things 42cc's, and are they all clam shell design. I seen different
color schemes on them, Green purple, black purple, etc.
