Question for you guys, Are all wild things 42cc's, and are they all clam shell design. I seen different
color schemes on them, Green purple, black purple, etc.
I think all the older ones were not sure but I’m thinking that newer stratto version is 40cc

Yes they are only thing I can imagine him doing is taking the cylinder half cutting the flat surface in lathe and then reworking the bearing pockets on the cylinder side after that. Doesn’t sound real fun or easy
I do not have a lathe, I did the cyl. flat all with sandpaper on a flat surface and the bearing pockets with sandpaper on a large dowel.
I do have good measureing tools left from my machineist days.
I did not touch the squish band.

I was thinking of turning the flat then seeing if I could make a fixture to turn pockets. But we’ll see

These saws do not have a very strong starter, I think a lot of comp. is going to destroy the starter.
The one I have has 150+ lbs comp allready and is hard to pull over.

I actually saw one for sale locally and rewind says 40cc but engine tag said 42cc
My 2375...I read they are 40cc but the tag shows 42cc.

I want to see @huskyboy put one on a stump and fell a tree on it.
I can only do it with a 500i, it’s more accurate because it’s the only real timbercutters saw they make out there now for real loggers lol. The wind would be my only variable to consider then... :copas:

You might be better and more accurate with the ECHO 7310.
Just sayin.
But wait. Ya have to be a logger not just a timba cutta.

I thought the 2375 or 2175 meant 2.1cuin or 2.3cuin, but they say 36cc or 40cc on the back.
