Looks like a fair bit of Scotch-broom along the road? We’ve been stuck with a 2 hour commute for awhile. We’ve got a short drive coming up soon. A 61 acre unit about 45 minutes or so away.
Most keep it in-bounds, but we have seen some stuff thrashed pretty good.Yeah tons of custom pin stripers on the side of the road there, it wouldn’t be that bad if they hadn’t of gone nuts putting in that right away. We you guys see the right a ways put in do the guys cutting lay all the cut timber out into the stands? Whoever did this one beat the piss out of the stand along the edge it should make my final number look interesting.

I'm curious do you guys in the States and Canada have much trouble with the green nut jobs chaining themselves to your gear or climbing trees and slinging hammocks and platforms to stop you logging?
It's a daily occurrence here, and the government does SFA to protect the loggers, depending on which political party is in power at the time it's almost encouraged by the government. We use to see some of that or them burning equipment/trucks down also spiking trees.

I like when my logs are layed out at the mill to look like anwell processed ready to use log. It says something about the quality of a cutters work. There butt or stump is almost like a signature. At least to me.My log buyer always said you can tell how a Faller takes care of his women by the way he does his butts
I like it for the most part. I wish it had some more torque, but it is extremely light which is nice, especially on this steeper ground. If my 500 would’ve had tougher AV, and better fuel efficiency, it would be a winner. I’ve been running the 461 a lot too.@CLEARCUT your liking that new saw
