Boy you fellas got me thinkin about that " bad seal " my brand new unfueled 660R had when i sent the saw to that NOPE.... but i guess anything is possible...

Ill save that for another thread.

I'm reading along joe, I don't deserve any credit for anything...you guys are doing it all. and I tend not to comment on these types of threads...because I don't know mr. Stratton personally or have ever dealt with him, I have no dog in the fight. you guys have pretty much said all that needs to be said anyways. but now that I did comment, I will, say in my pea sized mind....and call me an *a-hole, or cynic or correct me if anyone feels I'm wrong....but to me what you guys are doing, while it is most certainly awesome and nice and all that *s-word.... it just seems like hes getting a "pass" or a get out of jail free card. I don't know exactly how it should be handled, and maybe this is the right way...and I understand nobody wants to send their saws back to him, ive read the threads... the dude that said anyone that sends a saw after the date of randys original thread and gets *f-worded is screwed is probably dead on. anyways, propers for yall for fixing this dudes saw up right :thumbsup:...ill continue reading along in the corner.

I understand how you feel Ted and part of me feels the same way. I just hate seeing somebody get boned out of their hard earned shekels, these guys already paid for a ported saw once, and then to have to turn around and pay for it again, along for repairs on things he messed up, is just utterly ridiculous in my mind. Jason has never once to my knowledge offered to do the right thing, and I don't believe that he ever will. I just hope that we as a community can clean up the damage he has done and prevent him from doing any more in the future. As far as him getting a free pass, he claims to port saws for a living, if enough of this gets around he will be out of business sooner rather than later.

I have been doing the same, Saber at 40 to 1 for about 5 years now , nothing seized yet!

I'll throw my .02 out in the midst of debate.

I didn't start this thread to stir any pots. The fact is, the pot was stirred already, by other hands. Consequently, that person has lost their right to post on these forums as well as others, as it should be.

We've all seen evidence in two different saws of negligent behavior, blatant dishonesty and theft. If anyone has their doubts of his intentions...well, I'd rather you didn't post in here. It's not helping a thing.

I'm eternally grateful to all who have pitched in to put my saw together correctly. Let's enjoy the build.

And thank you all for the pointers too. I'll be calling about oil today!
