At least for me, build threads (with lots of pics) and civil discussion is what this site is supposed to be about.

I couldn't help but notice that this post didn't mention your plans to commit a felony or activate the swear filter 37 times. If you could go back and edit it, that'd be great. :D

Well I mean...it's like the beautiful girl undressing...then Al speaks from her mouth...

Anyone remember that old episode of Bugs Bunny, where he wins the hand of the Indian princess?

Thank you for the warm wishes Rob. I think all is slowly falling into place. Sometimes it's overwhelming, but the good vibes help it along.

At some point, I look forward to bumping into all of you local guys and having a beer or burger or both. :)

I like good beers, good burgers, and good people. Also have a limitless supply of wood so a mini GTG can always be arranged, just have to know what kind of and size of wood we want to set aside. I also am looking forwards to meeting some of the fine people I've met here in person.

Dude is just dishonest. That's all I really need to know.

Looking great Al.

On the uppers......Sometimes less is more. If the numbers are just right, there isn't always a reason to touch them.

Case in point...a 562XP seems to run best with a popup piston, and a widened exhaust port. No other grinding is needed.....just some flash removal.

Thank Randy.

It got late. Ports done but not chamfered.

I had to raise the uppers. The chamfer will blend it to the leading edge. They're not widened.

I always hear this saying another way with a slight difference: I see said the blind man to his deaf son as he picked up and hammer and saw.

Really? I done been cheated, here for all these years all I ever got was "I see said the blind man" and that's it.

I'm sure this case was split before. Also sure it wasn't in the last few years.

Not sure if it was repainted. Purple power soak causes the paint to get gummy and peel. Never had this happen before, and I've soaked many a factory painted part in the same solution for the same amount of time.

Fortunately, a generous member offered to powder coat the case/clutch cover/starter. He wishes to remain nameless, but the OP knows who he is to thank him.

I should be able to get it out today. Hopefully have back by next weekend.
