What would that do? Give you more compression?

I think the question always arises. Does higher compression equate to more power. We need someone to take 2 identical saws and port them to the same numbers. Then make one saw 180 psi and one saw 190 or 200 psi and compare. There are so many variables involved.

The enemy of success is perfection.

Angelo says: Leave it as is.....go have a beer instead....one of them coffee looking like beers that fancy beer guys like to drink...you know the ones that taste bad but ya gotta say they taste good....ya....one of dem.

Lol!
I always leave the decisions to Doc. He knows best. With his integrity and professionalism, if he makes a change and it is not as good as it was, he will make it right.
Just the way he is.

The MS440 that Jason built that I bought from his has 195 psi of compression. It is very easy to start. Easier than my 029 and 026.

Some are...especially when they are tuned properly. it helps some when you know at to expect from a high compression saw too. I know which of my saws are lossey goosey and which ones are tight as heck. Ya get a feel for em after a while.

Doc's saws start on one pull anyway.
