I hate to tell you but he only places that fancy stickers on the saws and sends them back.

Mine's either an 036 or a ms360 cylinder under there, not sure what Randy ended up doing, the cylinder I sent him was a little too used to use :)
I think the smaller letter badges are a little later and coincide with the release of the 034 Super, but I thought the badges matched in size, more reading to do for me it seems :)
You are going to love that saw! I just posted a noodle vid of my MM 036. Mucho ba nanna! yee haw...

Let me know how that big saw runs, I may be able to PU one of them.
Stock they're torquey. Modded, well, you better eat your spinach and wear your big boy pants. They're something else, but w/parts being a female dog to find I'd rather find a 2100 Husky as I like their balance better anyway. Crap, I just sounded like Nikko...

Speaking of that Randy guy, after putting my MMWS 346xp through it's paces today, He's NOT getting this saw back. Dad loves it and a dedicated Snellerized Stihl friend of mine tried it and liked it VERY much. Oh it's good to have a 346 again. It was fun finally playing with a 550xp though. I may have to get one done by Randy or buy a new one from Terry... I really like that saw better than the 261, though it doesn't quite have the same torque. It's more of a finesse saw, but I love how it handles.

Yup, dang that thing simply fell through the wood! I love RS too. Very good chain. I agree with you on "new" saws, sometimes an older model, rebuilt, is just going to put a smile on your face, and will for much time to come.

I've got about 6 tanks into it since the rebuild and you defiantly have to use the CR or its going to sting the fingers.
No base gasket, I forget what the squish is but Randy has the magic recipe for power and torque.

A buddy has a 2100cd Which will be mine before too long. Sometime after getting it, it will go to the Ape for a checkup and stuff...
