I know we have, but the amount of work and time you guys are putting into this...
We're making the best of it, Doc and I are shooting spitballs at a JMSSAW sticker while we make fun of ourselves standing in front of our lathes ........ we're having a blast !!

I was wrong on the muffler. That wasn't a hillbilly attempt to stack dimes. He built up a full pad with flux core in order to mount a second deflector. Another head scratcher. He coulda just extended and opened the rear for less noise and same performance. View attachment 86626View attachment 86627

I told you your Muffler mods look Good.

Kevin also checked the jug for the 066, just in case J had cocked with it. Luckily he hadn't, and it's still as true as it was when it left Shaun's shop.
Other than the wear under the exhaust port, it's good to go. I'll run it until the jug needs to be replaced.

Good deal, with all this scrutiny over machining you all have me second guessing my work!

I don't doubt your mechanical skills for one second! I'd love to have you port a saw for me.
@srcarr52 is one of the good ones ........... I've tried to copy from him what I've seen on his videos. I too hope to one day have a srcarr saw !

Thanks for the compliment guys. Unfortunately I only get time to do about 6 saws a year. I'm currently trying to finish up a race saw that I've been working on for over a year. Yeah... I'm slow.

Alright boys, I'm not sure if there's any point in having the case on the 395 welded up. I got it ready tonight so I can head down to Dan's @paragonbuilder tomorrow morning before work, so he can help me split the case. The crack that Shaun @srcarr52 has so kindly offered to weld up is on the pto side.
Once I got the flywheel side apart, I realized it's got it's quirks too. It's got a piece broken off, and a couple of stripped out bolt holes to boot. I'm thinking I should just lick my wounds at this point and look for another case for it. I'd hate to see so many good guys help me out, and spend lots of time and effort on this saw, and then I go and reassemble it with *s-wordty parts.

At this point nothing really surprises me regarding what he's done. He's a turd. Plain and simple. I hope someone flushes him down the drain sooner than later.
I'm just gonna try and look forward to what this saw will be when it's done.

I've seen a similar pattern in a few AM jugs after a fair amount of run time. I always wondered if something was out of round or not true.
Odd...

My aftermarket 7900 jug has the exact same pattern. It runs just fine but that doesn't mean that it always will

come on now do you actually think the *f-wordtard knew how to get any power out of a saw and admit anything

He knew for certain that transfer ports never back flow. Even argued with me after I shared quotes from the two stroke tuners manual and Bells book. I remember several people getting on my ass for telling him that he was retarded

What a surprise Sondre.

Lower your expectations.

His saws have a problem at every single turn. He makes no attempt to disclose them or make any repairs. Just enough to get it out the door and make cash.

Those welding jobs ain't that terrible. And the stripped holes can be helicoiled or timeserted.
