Well the tiny tach sounds good but with a lot of people reporting issues i am thinking twice about chasing one.
I cant sent it cack to them as easily either.

I have a a Stihl EDT 7 but its slow to react
I love mine for what it is. It reads from the handle bar or a little farther. 4 or 5 years of use and they replaced it for the shipping cost to them I'll keep using them.

I received a brand new tiny tach from DTI. Mine had went crazy and sent in for it to be checked out. I get a package a day or so ago and opened it last night and found a brand new one. Great customer service. Since I was about 3 or 4 years out of warranty.
Was yours the Fast-Tach model? (Or am I off base?)

Well guys couldn't resist.... Bought a hardline for my ms461, it doesn't have many hours on it anyway, hell its just now breaking in good....

When I get it and play with it some, I will probably do as someone stated and buy 2-3 more....

I've only used one other tach but it was years ago and can't remember who the hell made the thing. It might come to me a little later...I got an appt with Dr. Anheuser Busch immediately after work.

Lol that's one of my doctors too!!!

Hell for the price I figured ain't got much to loose, plus I like the idea that it tracks hours of run time....I will probably get atleast 1 more when I get this one and mess around with it some....

Plus I have looked at reviews and people say they work good...
