Let me ask you this, as I am NOT well versed in tachs (sorry)...are the hard line tachs made to put on one chainsaw or motor and leave it....Only one faster is one of the stihl tachometer without a replaceable battery. EDT 8 maybe?
Hardlines are cheap, buy 3 of them and put em on your most used sawsWould it be a good idea for me to buy 2-hardline tachs, one to mount in my 461 to read hours and 1-to just check RPMs on all other saws????
Agreed just ordered another one tonight. I like having it mounted on the saw.Hardlines are cheap, buy 3 of them and put em on your most used saws
Have it on a couple, and have a stand-alone that I wrap and zip-tie the wire lead to the plug wire of saws when I'm messing around and trying to tune a little.Nice thanks for the info... Do you have this brand on your saws too...
Negative...the wire must be used for it to receive it's impulse signal for RPM's and to activate the hour meter function (start clocking). Can the hardline tach/hour meter be used without the wire?
I bought directly from them for $85. https://www.tinytach.com/handheld-tachometersWhere is the best place to buy a DTI?
Oh bugger.Negative...the wire must be used for it receive it's impulse signal for RPM's and to activate the hour meter function (start clocking).
