Since she already ordered the saw, just settle for the biggest cannon light bar she can find.
crap i should have thought about. she told me to go buy whatever saw i wanted, so I came home with 881 661R, (500iR be here friday), and a 261C. from 2 different dealers lol

ya sure? i taught her to throw knives, shoot a bow, rifle and pistols.:D
I can't let mine run a saw unsupervised. The first time she did she did okay. The second time she kept the throttle engaged while she walked up to the next cut. :eeeeek:

No more of that. I won't let her shoot. She has no muzzle control, and won't index her finger on a empty chamber.

Also installed an outerwears pre filter. Have used them for years. Helps to keep the pleats in the filter from packing tight with dust/chips

Also found this interesting to find a russian made bosch plug.

Just wanted to post a few side by side pics. My 780 on the left and 881 on the right. A little slimmer in width. Also with the cylinder tilted back more, it pushes the powerhead weight towards the rear handle better then an 880. Should be a pretty balanced saw with the right bar.

How do you take off the limiter caps?

Strato engine?

I used the 4502 tool. Just like most walbro carbs it is just a plastic cap. These have a metal washer right beyond the plastic. I would think a drywall screw would get you there. Nothing like the 7310 echo if you are familiar with those.

No on the strato. No fresh air charge. Has an intake manifold like the 201t. Held on by 4 bolts. Smaller square intake in the middle. 2 longer rectangles above and to the sides of the intake.

But maybe it has more to do with port design then weather it has a air valve.
