This thing is beyond aggravating. I can’t get the throttle lever to connect to the carburetor. This is what I have so far. Any suggestions?

Pretty sure there's a linkage between the orange connection on top to carb.

That looks like a throttle rod short one goes on the right side carb.
Part #1129 182 1500 I believe. Could have been lost on the bench top when taking the handle down. Easy to do, but without that major part, you cannot reassemble. Making one in the shop to work is almost impossible. This part has to be attached while the carb is being bolted on, not after the carb is bolted in place.

Welcome to the snake pit.

I ran into the same problem when reassembling mine, lost the original part (the one I mentioned above) and got a spare from the dealer, the same part you posted in the pic above.

Took me a while to make it work, the original part was bent differently but the new one worked also. The loop goes on the top plate and that part that's bent a little goes on the carb. Pain to put on but it's doable.

I got it all back together. Once I put the wire on the lever the right way, I saw how it had to go. Then it was just a matter of getting it to stay when I put the carburetor on. Thanks to everyone that helped. The throttle spring from @angelo c really helped. It is still on backorder from stihl. This saw was kinda a basket case when I bought it.

Well done son.
They get easier every time you do one. Only once does it suck.
Love those little suckas.

This just in. Today I received a pair of Stihl 201T saws and a 192TC that need help. All three have bars mounted with chains hanging loose. Looks like my weekend before Christmas is not going to be spent near Cuba or the Bahamas.

The owner also dropped off a 441C and a vintage 029 that needed attention. In addition, thirty chains in all sorts of sizes and shapes (dull, rusted, snapped, etc.) accompanied the delivery. How did I get into this business?
