I don’t care if it wears orange and white Stihl colors, or the blue Pferd color...they are BOTH mfg’d by PFERD! This Stihl branded file is a PFERD mfg’d file...as simple as it gets.

He explained in your thread over there that they were made by Pferd for Stihl and you wanted no part of it, insinuating that Stihl made their own and Pferd was obviously a copycat or knock-off. And that Stihl had to be better because it said Stihl on it.

Who ‘designed’ it first is irrelevant. When talking about who mfr’s the blue PFERD version and the orange/white STIHL name version...they both come from PFERD! Only difference is color.

On the other forum, you stated the ‘blue’ was a copy or knock-off of the ‘orange/white’. Well.............if the ‘orange/white’ is mfg’d in the ‘blue’ plant and shipped out the back door by the tens of thousands, just like the ‘blue’ ones are... then what does that make the ‘orange/white’ ones? A copy squared or a knock-off squared??

pferd is the one who came out with it and stihl bought into it
if it was a stihl owned tool pferd would not be able to put their name on it
