That was awesome, passive aggressive at its finest!

If you're happy with it then it doesn't matter who made it or how much you spent
good for you

sharp chains are a good thing no matter how you get there

My local Stihl dealer has been really good to me for around 35+ years i trust their sales people same ones for many years, just bought two new Stihl chainsaws from them, also new bars and chains and the Stihl 2 in 1 sharpening tool i could have went to amazon saved a few bucks then i would not be supporting my local dealer and my trusted service man known him for 35+ years.
Good to hear. I shop local. Really good JD Stihl dealer 10 minutes.

Same here.

a buddy got this file in the smaller version for his ms250 and said it’s too flimsy. I would like to try one, I told him everything I’ve seen about it has been great.

Have not seen a smaller version of the Stihl 2 in 1 would like to see this smaller sharpner.

This is the .325 version made for the 0.325" pitch chain found on the MS250.

I have the same one (in blue) for my 346XP and don't think it's flimsy at all. In fact I don't notice any difference in build quality between that one and the other three I have (3/8p, 3/8 and .404).

If you find a Blue one it needs to say Pferd on it since they are they ones making all of them. I got mine through a local Echo dealer saving 10 buck vs buying the Stihl labeled one.

I think this might be the smaller one people are referring to.

I have not seen this Pferd sharpner but i notice it just has two or maybe just one can't really tell from photo metal cross bars where i Stihl sharpner has four.
But i don't see where just pushing on the Pfred sharpner, when using it would cause it to flex unless you were pushing down extrd.View attachment 280215

I'm not sure either I was just throwing that model out there.

This is what he sent me.View attachment 280214

You're going to love it. Some say it sharpens a little on the aggressive side. But that doesn't bother me any. I could see where it could be a problem on 36" plus bars.
