stihl 066 porting

Which one of you garbonzo beans is building me an 066?
Is an 064 case better or worse for a GTG/fun saw?
What oil mix and ratio does my new builder prefer?

I was thinking of a 64 with a 56 mag jug on it. See i gots this 056 mag sittin in the shed.

That's why I run mostly stock ones for firewood and milling. It's nice not to listen to some of them 5-9 minutes straight at a time.

best I can recollect it is one them fellars named Mike or some such
Oregon still hasn't shipped me the other variety of chain I ordered way back then either, they are bigger slackers than I am

Ask spencer paving but the 064 may not fit the 56mm. It needed relief for 066 piston.

There was a couple lgx in the box. I have a loop of CL here as well.

Yes a mag cyl will fit a 064....did one for josh...just need a bigger hammer and stuff

What do you think of that saw compared to a mag jug on a 66 case?

064 case has 5mm screw stock. 066 6mm. Not sure what 056 was. I have had couple 064 strip out and installed 6mm insert

Honestly....I think my 66 runs better than his even though they were identical on the porting....case volume maybe? I don't know for sure...but don't get me wrong his does run

definite bonus points for the full wrap 1/10 of a point deduction for the plastic top cover badge unless you ordered if from me and then it is awesome
