I stole that tip from you, this was a fresh one so it worked well.
The other one I've been using is getting pretty dull.... Time for a few new ones.

What do you use to "finish" your fingers Randy?
I used a double cut 1/8" burr to get mine close. Then I used a single HD cutoff disc to set the top. Then I used a stack of 3, ground down to about 3/8" diameter, to widen and smooth the trench. I couldn't believe how much the stack trued things up

definite bonus points for the full wrap 1/10 of a point deduction for the plastic top cover badge unless you ordered if from me and then it is awesome :)

I haven't ever seen a oem full wrap.

First full wrap I've ever seen. They must be rare as hell.

I bought that off Young, the token asian,i think he said canadian saws came with them ,because they are mandatory up there to have a full wrap for logging

I'd like your post, except I think yours look pretty dang good Doc !!
Thanks Mopar.

I spent at least 4 hours smoothing them and playing with the opening point.

When Deets is done, his will look just as great.

Has anyone seen Vince's fingers in the glass beading thread? Now THOSE are a thing of beauty.

I got the standard Chinese ones off eBay. Entire kit under $30. Usually I wear out all the cone shaped ones first.

I'm not sure what to even call the little guys to search for em.

I did buy 10-1/8" split mandrels from the slanty eyed on eBay for sub-$10. I can't wait to try them out polishing an exhaust port. At that price, it wasn't worth trying to cut a finish nail on end.

Young got out of saws, and into bicycling.......

I still talk to him sometimes though.

I was into roadbikes and rode 30 to 50 miles several times a week. Now thats an expensive hobby. Some of thoso bikes go 10 to 20000. An average carbon frame trek bike around 3000
