Stihl 034AV

Can anyone give me any information on a STIHL 034AV's please?
Were they a Pro saw? Or a regular saw? Are they worth rebuilding? How do they run?
Thanks in advance for any in sight into these saws.

Yes they are a pro build Jeff. They are worth rebuilding for a good price and make a strong 60 cc saw.

Is it close to a 044 in engine size?
Parts still readily available?

It is the same stroke and physical size as an 036. 46 mm bore. An 034 super is the same as an 036, 48mm bore.

034 is 56cc, 034 super and 036 is 61.5cc
044 is 70.5cc

Ooooops. My bad on the 044 comparison. LOL I was thinking 036/MS360. But I typed 044. Go figure.
Anyone know when they stopped making these?

Looks like 034 came out in 1984. 036 in 1993. 034 super was probably in between
