Any of you guys tried thorogood? I was gonna try a set on today at tractor supply but they didn’t have my size. Hear great things about em. Thought about getting a set. Because I like boots. Not that my new Irish setters or my other set of new red wings arent brand new in box but. I like boots.
I have a pair of Thorogoods I use at work. They're pretty good I would by again. I got them off the bay for 85.

And here's my RW moc toe that my dad got from my mom in 1991. 20220306_124324.jpg
I use Blackrock leather and rich on them.

View attachment 329449 This is what I rock. Mink oil is pretty good to me as well. I’m not picky really. I think any leather oil is better than none

That Blackrock I only use on old leather I should of added. These boots were in a box for 14 years and in bad shape.

Work boots get the good ol Nor V gen because it's cheapest at my local boot store.

Yeah the leather will loose it’s waterproof properties in all boots in time. I have a set of red wings with a goretex lining. They’ll keep you dry

Both redwing series I’ve had tried were gortex. The dynaforce and the 9” loggers.

Little larger 6" tall 1" heel chippewas seem to have taken care of it.
