Can I change out a spur type sprocket for a rim sprocket and vice versa? I have a spur but would like to change it out to a rim for easy bar and chain swaps

Keep in mind this series of saws had gear drive oil pumps .If you change from say a spur to a rim you also need to change the clutch drum drive gear .
