Difference in Oregon Rim Sprockets?

I'm getting ready to order a few replacement rim sprockets to go with my saw chain stash, and I usually buy Oregon sprockets, not trusting those $3 Chinese ones. I see some offered that are stamped "Oregon" and some stamped "Power Mate". I know that Oregon calls their replacement drum/sprocket system "The Power Mate System", but why the two different stampings? Is there any difference other than branding?

They are same/same from what I know, just one has Oregon's proprietary name of "Power Mate" stamped on it too.

I have used the cheaper rim sprockets via Amazon on 18" and under saws without issue. There are some off brands that do look online exceptionally thin and spindly, which I stayed away from.

What's odd is, they're either "OREGON" or "POWERMATE", but not both. Curious, but not important unless there's a durability difference.

Ya I could not say otherwise why they are visually different. Perhaps a different company was contracted to cast them and Oregon changed the branding then. Or it could be their way of "ID-ing" what plant or country is making them...? In the end they are both OREGON.

Maybe some are from a kit and some are not? I think the ones in the kits have Power Mate on them, but I’ll compare tomorrow. I’ve got them both ways.
