This is one of my 30 some straight body’s that is headed to the dump. I got the motor running and it knocks. I will be striping it of all good parts.
I have to thin the herd,I had over 100 Vehicals on my storage lot. Plan on using the center of the lot for a new business venture so the worthless stuff has to go.

That's a shame but what you gonna do? Not like it's worth any of us to drive up there with a few car hauling rigs to pick them all up. Still sad thought. :)

The cleanup continues.
This one is a keeper, I parked it in 09 it was our supply truck doing 500kms a week. The rear end was howling.
Put a battery in it and it started. All the BFG Radial All Terrians had air. Drove it next to the brown rust bucket and put the alternator on it from the rust bucket,it disappeared at some point.
I may put the dealer plate on it and drive it till the old gas is gone.

This one stays as well.
Had it since the 80’s
Got it after it was being towed and the ball came off the bus towing it. Frame was bent bad. I had it straightened and drove it for years. PTO winch in the back made me lots of money in off road recovery. It was my personal 4X4 when I worked 14 miles off road. Crossed a river once when I shouldn’t have and it made it. Front diff is welded now.

Been a few days and a few more squares to deal with.
A burnt 81 blazer that the frame is still good, the engine still turns over so it will get saved as well
A crunched 86 Blazer that is rust free, frame is bent. I will save the rust free body and put it on the burnt frame, someday a front part of a cab could make a good rust free project body.
A rusty complete 81 Diesel pickup, it runs and drives so if will become diesel parts storage

Anybody have an 80 silverado with a complete air conditioning system? If so could you post pics of it from under the hood. I'm going to try to get mine going again but dont know what all I'm missing or how the wires run/connect. Thanks in advance.

'87 S10 4cylinder (2.5L Iron Duke) 4x4 that has been my daily driver for 7 years.
Got smacked last May 3rd in a EF1 tornado (that was a scary night).

I still drive it, but it needs a new cab (I put a floor jack inside & a 2x4 to jack the top up enough to still drive).
Best truck I've ever owned!
Drove it DEEP in the mountains with no roads, dodging trees to retrieve a large 10 point Buck I couldn't drag by myself. Lol

Hey @Woodslasher , maybe somebody on here would be interested in that 77 f-250 4x4 longbed that’s sitting at the end of black oak mine and 193. It’s no good to us in California as it is a Nevada truck and can’t pass the calif smog tests. If I remember correctly the sign said $7000. Which is likely just wishful thinking but I don’t know anything about it.
