I think they look good! Also helps with rust prevention! :D
No rust on this one. Lived most of her life as a 1/2 ton 305 truck that was reported stolen in the 80's and parked in a barn. Paint was like new until it sat outside for a couple months and started flaking off. Had around 13k miles on it.

Dads beater squarebodies. We also have a plethora of 1966 ford trucks. I'm hoping to start on my truck soon. Have a 75 f150 4x4 running gear I plan on dropping a 66 short box body on. Have a 390 and 4spd I plan on using... although it may get put on the back burner again as I just found a bunch of sbc parts I'll probably use to do the v8 conversion in my s10.

This is probably putting the cart before the horse but I got a 454 to rebuild THEN find a truck to put it in. Its a low mile motorhome motor, cost me $150.

Know if it's a std block or a tall deck? Some of the motor home/ school bus and medium dutys had them. Doesn't matter either way it's a good score!

They made TD 454s?

Or could it be a TD 427?

I believe they made 366, 427 and 454 td blocks. Not 100% sure but gm made some unusual combos for hd applications. More than likely a std block but there is always that chance for a hidden gem or bastard. I have seen some pretty wicked td builds is why I mentioned it.
