Gotta find em first then wait for a dark parking lot lolHad to do a google search for high sierra trucks to find them. Searching for emblem only brought up the older ones. May have to wait for a dark night in a parking lot somewhere.
Freebie! Fully loaded 1980 1/2 ton Silverado. The A/C is incomplete now tho. It has a couple options I've never seen before, door panel speakers and tachometer. Someone put a flatbed, 16" wheels, 3/4 ton rear springs and air bags on it. Hooker super comp headers on the 350 also. Kinda strange that all of my square bodys are blue and grey.
Nice Steve! What master cylinder did you use for the swap? And did you have to move the tans crossmember back? I need to install mine in the blazer!Anyone need a good TH400 for a 4x4?

You going to have enough clearance with seat?
I am looking to go the other way on a 4x4. But I want a lift on air. Have a Suburban that will become the road tripperOk squarebody nation! I am starting to research the best way to drop the 81 about 3”s. It looks like belltech has a front hanger drop bracket for the rear, and there are drop leaf springs, I don’t want to do a flip kit because it’s 5.5” drop and I would have to do a c notch. The front has tons of options 2” spindles and drop springs or 3” spindle drop or 3” spring drop. I don’t think I want to do 3” spring drop, but don’t know if 3” spindle drop alone is a good option. Truck already had light duty 3 leaf rear springs so it isn’t raked, it sits pretty level now. Any of you guys done any drops on these? View attachment 283818View attachment 283819
3” will almost be flush with the rear lip, and an 1”-1.5 gap up front. An not doing air, or hacking up or be bed
Myself normally but you regarding the diff in tower location.Who you talkin to John?

Yes 81 is the first year square headlight, they also claim the front clip is lighter by 250lbs and I think they added the square fuel door in the bed.they also started galvanizing some of the body parts, the later body’s got even more, but they did a partial dip on the door in 81 as well1980 last of the round lights
the front clip changed along with the lights.
