Sander for $10, I wonder if it's Makita or Bosch The M10 spindle is smaller and the nuts do not fit a standard wrench. There is also no spindle lock button and a switch you will never see again. I'll keep disassembling it, maybe I'll find something about the manufacturer. Someone overdid the grease in the gear because it reached all the way to the rotor stator, see the felt under the small gear wheel and the spindle bearing which is removed outside. Square brushes 6mm Without wires

I think the museum is awesome! I have admiration for the labor of love that it takes to pull this stuff together.
Always kills me a little bit to see those Aumann auctions on the rodeo channel when someones collection is going under the hammer.

But I still wanna know, who gets to shovel the snow out of the gap between the buildings? 😳
The Museum and the next building, that is.

359 at auction yesterday. Got it cheap enough that I can fix or replace any or all of the usual minor/major suspects and still be much much less than a used craigslist saw, plus I have a good collection of spare parts for 357/359 :) . Auction didn't want me taking the thing apart pre-sale so when I got home pulled the muffler and piston has a fairly minor "blemish" but I'll replace it anyway just cause it's cheap and at this time I don't think the cylinder has suffered much....would hate to trash a jug simply because I'm foolish/ignorant and don't wanna spend $30.
