Picked up a Stihl KM-131R with a few attachments. Dealer actually had everything in stock. Pretty decent for out here.

Why are there two separate attachments for the line head and the brush cutter?
And where is Your chainsaw attachment?

I guess I must not be following 100 percent. Coffee must not be kicking in yet.

If you are wondering why I bought both the brush cutter and string trimmer attachment, instead of just swapping a blade onto the string trimmer, it's because I got the brush cutter for 70 (edit: messed up price) bucks and by the time I bought a blade and the other stuff to attach it, I would've been halfway to paying for the separate attachment. This way I won't have to constantly be messing with swapping blades and heads either. So it's easier and faster this way.

Chainsaw? Do you mean the pole saw attachment?

Your coffee seems to work better than mine.
You understood everything perfectly fine!

If the separate brush and string attachments were more affordable than getting needed parts to equip one attachment with both - yeah, that makes sense.

Yes, where is Your pole saw attachment?

:)

Everything was 10 to 30 bucks cheaper, per item, in the store, which is actually a John Deere dealership, but they carry Stihl stuff as well, that's how it works where I live, than what it showed online, through the Stihl dealership website. The guy mentioned that's what a lot of folks do is just add a blade and adapter stuff to the string trimmer, but for 35 bucks more, for the whole attachment, this just made more sense and now I have an extra attachment, just in case one breaks.

I use a manual Stihl P800 pole saw and have the pruning head with it as well. I was going to get the pole saw attachment, but for 200 plus bucks, when I already have a manual one, I figured that money could go towards a 394, and new 3120 instead.

Yeah, 200$ is better invested towards a badass 3120 instead of a partial Stihl!

Another thing I like about the manual pole saw over the chainsaw pole saw is, the manual one is twice as long. The P800 reaches 18 feet and the gas powered attachment, even with the extension, is only about 9 feet.

I'm 6'5". So add 18 feet to that and I've got quite a reach. Only downside is, it's slower, but I'm OK with that. I'm not in a hurry.

When I need to reach that high I bring the crown closer to the ground.
That way I don't have to worry about branches anymore either! :D

Lol That is the best solution for sure. I use it to take out branches that would be a problem if I fell the tree, but yeah, everything being on ground level is my preference as well.

Got me a chain grinder, AMA MAXX 13150, made in Italy.
PS-9010 for scale.
There was a thread on the Maxx on ‘the other site’. Maybe you can start one on it here, with your impressions?

I never used one. I understand that they can grind ‘outside-in’ for both Left and Right cutters by rotating the vice / tilting the head, as opposed to changing the wheel rotation.

Otherwise, the general guidelines for grinding should apply.

I hoped You'd chime in being the ultimate chain guru.
Do You possibly have a link to that AS thread? I'd like to read what it says.

I hope to get better results with this unit than from that cheap supermarket unit I had.

Wow, there are quite a few threads on the MAXX "over there"!

I hope my unit is not as bad as other users reported.

Got milk .

Snagged up a trailer hitch receiver (reese style 2") dealy for the little tractor. It has the top connection so it won't flip over like some of the standard ones. Soon as the rototilling jobs are all done I'll put it on, hope it makes moving the trailers and wood splitter a lot faster.
I spent 40 on it, not bad for being home most the day, I usually spend quite a bit more.
