If you’re referring to my post it’s a Notch throw launcher. Basically a slingshot on steroids for launching a throw up into trees to pull your ropes up.I do not know what is it
You're gonna like that, and wonder why you didn't get one years ago. Finally got tired of struggling to get a throw up in a tree. Shoulders won’t take throwing anymore and fingers don’t work for the cat’s cradle line throw so I bit the bullet.

Found this rigging shop about 45 minutes from me that is well stocked. He asked me what company I worked for. Told him I just cut firewood and give it to older people that need firewood but can’t get their own anymore. He sold me the launcher with trigger for $140 out the door. You're gonna like that, and wonder why you didn't get one years ago.
I've had mine for yrs, great tool for setting lines. Not sure how familiar you are with setting lines/the techniques for doing it, but if you have enough rope you can natural crotch rig many branches/trees from the ground and avoid climbing them. I shoot the throw line onto a branch I can reach with the pole saw and then send a running knot/rope up to it, then shoot the the throw line into a crotch up a good bit higher and pull the tail of my rope through. You can then use a Porta wrap or just wrap the rope around the tree for a little friction. There are quite a few other tricks you can use it for, such as installing a pulley into a crotch with the rope in it for rigging.
I pull a lot of back leaders against their lean with the skidding winch, depending on how high I need to set my line and how open the crotch is I'll use the throw line to get my rope through the crotch and then pull the cable up through the crotch and chain it to the base just above where I'm cutting (just like you would for pulling with a rope).
I'd like to get a trigger for mine, but I just have well you know, pulled the trigger yet lol.
They gave you a new, dead 3510!?!Nothin'......but Home Depot replaced my dead 3510 for free.View attachment 334313
Those wraps aren't heavy, but can be a bit bulky.Another question from my side. I live in Europe, and a friend of mine is visiting family in the US. In Maine/New York.
I ordered a full wrap kit for a 395XP but it's still on backorder. The local Husqvarna dealer doesn't have a website, but any suggestions about what would be worthwile taking back to Europe? It can't be anything very heavy or oversize because it has to go in a suitcase.
I have a 395XP, 372XP and 2171's.
That's great.Found this rigging shop about 45 minutes from me that is well stocked. He asked me what company I worked for. Told him I just cut firewood and give it to older people that need firewood but can’t get their own anymore. He sold me the launcher with trigger for $140 out the door.

I like a good aggressive chain! LolView attachment 334395 View attachment 334394 Guy delivered this yesterday in his travels. He told me he cut off the anti kick back parts off the chain. Come to find out he just cut the rakers off and used an angle grinder to sharpen the chain.
