Well, this was yesterday, but 2 500is. Went to buy one for work after calling dealer after dealer and getting in touch with the area sales rep. He found 4 at one store. Drove 2 hours there and couldn’t resist, lol. One followed me home as well.
Why buy 1, when you can have 2 for twice the price?’

My son and I have a morbid fascination with complex German engineering. It only has 45k on it since 1999. It's the little (expensive) bits that will require fixing I'm sure.IMG_20220416_132451956_HDR.jpg 23497.jpeg

Got it at the Charlotte Auto fair.

PS--At least it's a V8. Also, it will pair nicely with my HKs and Stihls.

Those wraps aren't heavy, but can be a bit bulky.
I'd check the price of chain, if he has a way to order off ebay and will be stateside for another week you could have them shipped to wherever he is staying (you have to read the ad closely as some sellers will only ship to the ad on the card/PayPal). I'd also check and see what the price difference is on filters(air and fuel, fuel lines, and any AV parts you need.

Thanks for the reply. I noticed that 0.058 chain is not that common or cheap in the US. I saw that a full wrap kit for a 390XP was available. I can modify the wrap to fit on my 288, and the dogs can go on my 2171. Pretty happy with that.

I noticed that 0.058 chain is not that common or cheap in the US.
It’s less common than 0.050” for smaller saws, and 0.063” for larger saws in the US Used on a number of Husqvarna models.

Available at Husky dealers, and through most on-line vendors.

Sometimes, it’s cheap, because people don’t know what it’s for, or don’t have the right saws.

Bought an Echo pas 2620, 3’ extension, and pole saw attachment after work this morning. The owner was nice and gave me a 15% discount off the 2620. Between the discount, a $50 Ace Hardware gift card I won at work, and a new benefit at work that will reimburse me up to $500 for certain expenses, my cost out of pocket is less than $20.

Cool, what veriety of bees you get?
My son has made a couple attempts with the carniolan type.
They like to say use Carnolians up north where whe winters used to be long and cold. We want a productive colony during the spring nectar flow for a large honey harvest.
Some properties are smaller and the state Ag. limits the amount of bees per property.
Russian bees are more likely to swarm and with people terrified of bees they aren't considered for Newbees.
Bee swarms have started here and have been offered to me, but with thousands of new ladies to please in 6 colonies here, free bees can wait!
Swarm bees produce the wax comb the fastest, so they are too busy to bee terrorizing people!
Back to building the electric bear fence.

Got a little oil.

Same guy was selling these. I bought them for a friend, he wants a lighter setup for his camper though, so I'll probably be listing them soon, or throw them in the basement like I do a lot of stuff.
I gave $60.
You can buy them cheaper other places, like $420 and $89.

Rotors and pads for the Toyota camry, the wife likes that the metal grindy sound is gone; parts aren't cheap, need to get the most out of them :D. Also changed the oil and rotated the tires, man does that thing have a tiny filter.
Did wheel bearings on the excursion Monday on the front right, need to do the other one as well. I also rotated the tires, but need to change the oil on it and both tractors and to lube up the grease joints on everything.

Yesterday a Walmart order showed up. A 5 pack of Oregon 72exj105g chains. Partly for a specific saw, but also for making smaller chains for other saws. I'm considering a 28 Light Tsumura bar for my 500i. If that happens 2 would immediately get cut to length and relinked to 91dl.
