I didn't purchase them today, but they are the most memorable purchase lately.

New summer tires for my moms car, Continental EcoContact6

I run Continental ContiPremiumContact5 on my car and love them, I hope the "6's" will perform similar or better.

Woohoo what's the donk a vw
Yup. Kids outgrew the small 1776 junker we have. This is an 1835 I got a good deal on. Coincidentally, from the same guy I bought my first vehicle (a CJ-7) from 20 years ago. Should be a lot of fun in a few months.

That 8208 is good powder, I use it in my 22/250, 204 and 17rems.
How much was it per kg?

I don't know much about old VW engines, but that's not a huge step up in displacement. The seller sounds like a guy I could get along with if he has VW sand rails and CJ's.

No VW expert either, but 1835 is starting to get up there. Dual carbs, cam, 4.88 gears...should be a pretty big improvement.

What is a CCP top end? Custom chainsaw parts? Just guessing
Chinese top end. My family refers to chinese knockoff parts as CCP or ChiCom parts. I had an experience with Custom Chainsaw Parts that left a bad taste in my mouth so I try to avoid buying from them.

CCP stands for Chinese Communist Party, which is who owns all of the factories in China (not 100% ownership, but you get the point)
I had a friend who actually thought communism was a good idea… we went to Cuba with some friends one year, he was trying to dazzle us with all the doctors available for the people. Meanwhile the buildings are falling apart and people have to hitch hike to work cause they can’t get a car lol
We aren’t friends anymore

Sooooooo to keep this on topic, here’s my newest beast, Iris.

I bought this old piece of crap. :D He's a 1971 F250 4x4 that came from the same logger my 2100 came from. It needs work from sitting for awhile, and a new bed cause it hauled too many 3-log loads, but it runs, drives, stops, and only has 94*** original miles on the original 360 w/a 2bbl Holley, NP435, and I think a Dana 24 t-case. Plus, it's got 2 auxiliary fuel tanks already set up, they just need a cleaning. I had one of these but had to sell it due to health issues and the amount of work it needed, so I'm happy to have had the opportunity to pick this guy up for a good price.

Picked this up 371XP on marketplace yesterday, seller had the worst pic, looked like it was taken through a potato in fog.
Got it for $80aud, seller said it felt seized, turns out the crank bearings, piston bearing had just dried up from sitting, everthing spins smooth now, will need new crank seals.
