I got myself a psw4000 portable capstan winch for pulling cut logs and felling trees in places where I can only get to on foot.. had a chance to use it, works very well

Bought this Stihl HOS grinder used. After cleaning it up it's pretty much as good as new. Only the cover next to the grinding wheel is missing.

Is there a big difference in using a Stihl USG with the adjustable head in stead of this, which has a fixed head?

If you are happy with the fixed grinder head angle: no problem.

If you want to grind at other angles: problem.

Nice grinder.

I wasn't really looking for a grinder, just came across it. Haven't been able to test it out. I am offshore now, so it will have to wait until I get back. Not sure what grinding wheel is fitted at the moment.

A grinding wheel for rakers came with it in a box.

I just saw that a lot of people prefer the USG one because of the tilting head.

I looked it up, and if I followed, it grinds at 60 degrees for a 3/8 chain. Which isn't bad. Different pitch chains it changes the angle apparently.
