Not what I was told
That was the company policy when I sold mac and compression testers are still a 1 yr warranty item from snapon. I sold quite a few of our less expensive testers (an OTC with mac branding) when I asked guys to check with my competing dealer.

I paid $70 for mine on ebay. First core lasted a year or longer.
Have you ever tried a regular stem core? At least to see if it leaks? Gotta be something going on if the first one lasted that long.

Not on that. Only hard line tools get the ltw.

I've heard of this issue before and have always suggested people buy the OTC tester kit. Great deal at 50-60 bucks.
Ah ok, I don't have their tester....hell...their tools are to dang spendy anyhow! haha

Keith I feel you . Here is what my Schrader valves look like the one on the right IMG_20160920_114756323.jpgDo you have the snap on motorcycle kit?
It's like the Schrader valve is just too weak .

Chris I talk with a fellow at Snap On and he mentioned certain kits with different length hoses. I have to call back tomorrow and talk with a guru name Bruce that will know more. This guy today mentioned a springless schrader but I wont know about it until I talk with Bruce
