So I should push to have the whole shooting Match replaced . I tried to use the 14 mm adapter that came with it to find out it was to long for saws . The hen I had to buy another adapter . A short reach 14 mm for saws .

It really is a very simple tool .take pressure in and hold it so it can be measured .

The valves they used have been Dif brands. I'm not sold on it not being a valve issue.

I'm a tool hound. I love this stuff. The good the bad and the ugly. At the shop I work there are at least 4 of these kits that work perfectly. One had this issue and was warrantied in the first yr.
My gauge had 2 valves in the first 2 years I owned it. Now the valves aren't lasting at all. I put one in another tester and it did the same thing. One high compression saw killed it.

I have a Mac tester that is tempermental. It cost way to much(100.00 plus). I have Lisle that works great (40.00)and a Craftsman that comes out of hiding every so often.

Put up a pic of your Mac tester if you get a chance. I'd love to see what model it is.

Ill get a pic of the Mac this eve. Ive replaced the valve stem needles a cpl times. Just seems to leak at times. It has a quick connect air line which is handy but not always assuring.

Waiting .... for snap on ....
In the meantime my dealer offered me a full refund ....
Then replied back saying he spoke with engineering. since the saw had a decompression on it won't get a accurate compression reading or none at all.
Then he said my start compression is too high ....
He said then that my compression is to high for the tester .... @Mastermind ...
Your 262 and 288 mmws ...
Maybe I should take the full refund ....
And buy 3 cheap ones that do not eat Schrader valves .....
