I got a lil CS390 that I am very fond of. About a pound lighter than a 500P, and still has loads of grunt. It's replaced a 50cc saw in my line up.

I love my 241, for most work I don’t need the power of a 50cc saw.
I save some weight and my back will tank me for that.
That saw does the most work, my 361 and 462 are sitting more on the shelf :/

I would love to try a 201 rear handle for the small stuff.

The smaller end of the saw world is where I spend most of my time unless felling something with some " Girth" :D
Husqvarna 42 special , Dolmar 109, Stihl 024 and Dolmar ps-420 (US 421) ....all 40cc group saws that I run on 15" narrow kerf bars.
My smallest saw is only 32cc and is a decent little runner for what it costs...Dolmar ps-32.
Spring A/V ,Stainless muffler, hex port cylinder , flow adjust bar oiler , A solid little saw IMO.

I had a minty 1998 017 bought new from the Va Beach factory by my girlfriend who worked there, they got one saw a year at employee price.

I recently gifted it to my grand dad who cant pull over a full sized saw anymore.
May replace it with a little husky.
I don't own anything non stihl yet, so this may be an inexpensive way to try out another brand.

Actually amidst the high cubers I have a collection of itty bitty saws .Poulans ,Echoes ,Husqvarnas McCullochs and Stihl .Even a couple of double trigger Homelites and a few Skils . Obviously the Stihl 200Ts are at the top of the heap but they all cut wood or used to at one time or another .
They all have their place .Not oak slayers but then again a Stihl 084 is not a trim the apple tree in the back yard type of thing either .

No pics of it, but I needed a saw to start whacking away at some overgrown trees on my tiny little Christmas tree farm (and before I signed up here and got bit by the bug) so when I stumbled on a Husky 135 that was mis-marked at a local farm-n-ranch I jumped on it.

I kinda want to get one of the Joncutter top-handle saws that afleetcommand just did a video on. Probably end up getting a little Husqvarna TH instead, though.

My favorite small saw. 38cc's of Poulan fun! I decided not to do too much work on the saw. Only a couple small mods - removed a all of the muffler baffles, slight timing advance, square filed 3/8 lp and good to go. If you look real close at the chain there are 3 cutters that are semichisel. It must have been a goofy error in the production run. After contacting Archer with pics they sent out a second chain that day.
