I have a skull bucket aluminum hard hat. I need to replace the ratchet suspension. Does anybody have a source for one? Will one fit from a different manufacturer? Did Skull Bucket go out of business? They don't answer the phone.

Are there anymore aluminum hard hat companies out there?

They don't answer the phone and have not replied to my emails. Interesting about Facebook.

Thanks. I will give it a shot. That one does not look the same as the original
Maybe it will work out for you. Why an aluminum hard hat though? I'm forced to wear a plastic hard hat because I work around energized electrical equipment.

Also, a cursory glance on Amazon revealed that they sell Chinese knockoff aluminum hard hats.

No reason. I have had it for awhile now. I have used the plastic ones too.

I will call them tomorrow. Looks like they do have them.
They are great to work with! All are knowledgeable in everything forestry related and are extremely helpful over the phone. They’ve been doing this a very long time.

Aluminum or as sometimes called tin hats/lids take a good hit vs a plastic one and they don't degrade from sun light especially when falling timber daily. To give you an idea most guys on the west coast never replace one through their whole career in the woods, I'll be dead honest other then some of the carbon ones you don't normally see plastic out here in the woods.

Also protects against mind control and chem trails.
