Not happy unless I have two of the same model.

I have multiples of the saws I really like.

I found a Mac SP-81 in a box and still have no idea where it came from. Most of the others I recognize.

Gary, I bet there are a couple things in that barn of yours you forgot you had. :)

chainsaw hoarding? Nothing more than an old wives' tale.

Just because I bought a 353 I don't really need because it was in good cosmetic shape and reasonably priced, when I have 3 350s with 346 top ends and a 346xp at home already, don't make me no stinking hoarder!
Nope, you're an asset manager in charge of acquisitions.

I sort of prefer the older stuff, not a hoarder as I try to keep my organized so I guess that makes me a collector; a hoarder just makes piles.

I do have one small pile in the attic but will get that sorted out once I move a few other parts saws to son Jeff's garage once I get some proper shelving built.

Mark, I agree that you are a "collector" vs most of us "accumulators". Very nice array of saws, bars and chains. How you keep them all so organized and neat looking is beyond my comprehension. Your shop is on the other end of the continuum from mine.
