Well, tell us more! Hydro? Is that the new 02 series?
Ok Steve , you asked yup HST with 3RD function for grapple, switched all work lights to LED don’t understand for a 2022 tractor doesn’t come with them, wanted the L3302 but didn’t want to deal with Def fluid emissions crap and price jump was a few thousand more so L2501 with do everything that 3302 will do and no emissions to deal with 9E968A19-96F7-4EA4-AAF0-BF772CBE7B98.jpeg , new loader upgraded for 2022 from L525 witch is nice and put a nice grill guard on it and Landpride pallet forks got to with a log lift hitch come in handy a put on a nice bucket accessory to pic shown and lower telescoping arms in the rear hitch . I like it .

The 2501 always looked like a real bargain in the Kubota lineup. As I recall, the engine is the same one that used to be in the l3400 making 30some hp. I think the main difference is rpm. Be cool to figure out how to turn it up and get those ponies back. Of course your PTO would be turning faster too. Bet the bush hog would do a real nice job going 20% faster...

Yea you can turn up the injector pump but not messing around with it being new and under warranty.

Shouldn't be any def under 80hp? Just the dpf and the like. I'll tell you though, I really like the dpf. Expecilly when using the tractor In the barn.

Sounds like you got a real nice unit. Hydro is a must with a loader. Really makes forward and reverse changes seamless and smooth.

Yes, my daughter is proficient with ours because of the hydro. Whole reason I got it. It's a tractor anybody can use.

25 hp and over requires the emissions now.

That's why they released the L2501. It's the same tractor as the 3301 and 3901 but with an engine detuned to fall under the 25hp emissions cutoff. So, it may be a bit underpowered for PTO work, but it'll be the basically the same for loader and a lot of draft work. So, unless you're in a hurry when mowing, it offers a lot of savings and a less complicated option. I'm not sure, but I think there's some other manufacturers doing the same thing.

Speaking of the L2501..... that's the way I went for the reasons above...

Yes, that is correct. I was questioning the DEF in under 80hp tractors. My 40hp tractor has DPF, EGR, and CRI. No SCR though.

I think you're right about DEF. Unless I'm mistaken the 2501 has only EGR, whereas the 3301 and 3901 (and pretty much everything over 25hp) has more complicated hardware. I think they are both common rail and have a dpf. I'm not opposed to emissions stuff, but for those of us only putting a hundred hours a year on the machine, it seems like overkill.
