Here are a few different ways I do mine, the Stihl sign will get a shelf in front of it very soon, I try and keep a new bar and chain on every saw.
I have never seen those perforated bar protectors. They are cool. Where did you get them?Gonna try to get this thread back on track since i helped derail it.
Heres some that are in the house. Some may go to the shed when i get it finished.

I'm sure you have seen this JasI think shelving is going to be more practical. I’ve seen the log idea and I like it, but I think it’ll take up too much floor space, with the longer bars sticking out.
