My dad's 1975 2WD F250 390cid 4 speed. He's been working on bringing it out of storage to sell.

Not sure. Maybe I will feel him out this weekend. Want to say it has around 60,000 miles on it.

The blue Dodge truck is the same as my papaw had when I was a child. We hauled everything in that tank. The last thing I recall was a load of manure for the garden. An unforgettable memory. :eusa_whistle::cool:

Just picked this rig up last week. Been looking for this truck for a quite a while now, finally found one with decent mileage and well taken care of. Drove 14 hours round trip to make it happen. 2003 2500hd, 4x4, crew cab, 8ft. bed, 8.1l. Vortec, Allison trans.

Bought it to replace these two: '97 k1500 5.7 and an '03 Suburban 2500 8.1.

Getting rid of a Burban, BLASPHEMY!

:pancarta:

We'll see how it goes, somehow I don't think a big block Suburban that gets 8mpg. is gonna be as easy a sell as the old pickup.

Not really a “rig”, but a 1957 Studebaker President Classic I bought last month. This was a California car that is rust fee. It is well equipped with a 225 hp V-8, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power windows, radio, heater, dual antennas and Twin Traction (limited slip rear). A nice solid car that came with a trunk load of parts.

Last year I downsized to get Momma into a new home and move farther away from an area that had gotten worse over the years. Had to sell my 13 Ram 3500, trailers, tractor, etc. (got to keep my boat). Purchased a commuter due to my now long commute.
Well I told her I would pick up an older truck at some point. Well the darn Ram/Cummins guys like to throw around “Holy Grail” term and want a million dollars for an older 12/24 valve with a manual. I got tired of hearing that line.

picked up a 2000 Ford F-250 7.3L Crew cab, 6 speed manual, with 242k. She has needed some work over the 2 months I’ve owned her but she runs well.8616B833-464A-4EB9-8D75-DEDD286F6AF8.jpeg
