No crap. It doesn’t even have to be fully saturated. But, it’s not the same.Brine by definition is a fully saturated salt solution.
A French fry is 100% potato, but it ain’t the same.
Have lived in the Rust Belt (by two definitions) for 50 years. I’ve seen the evolution as salt use became more of a thing. As the cars got more resistant. Then as this *s-word hit.
Suddenly truck brake linings were popping off the core, something that never happened. Along with cars that held up, suddenly rotting away. By far the worst, is if you are going down the road and hit a spot the just treated.
I said how it sticks to the road, now it’s coating places you can’t even clean.
I’ll reroute if I can, around here we don’t have many road choices.
