However, some saws are a pain in the ass to muffler mod and a second deflector is the best option.
Nah, I’ve been able to get a pipe or a deflector on everything and anything so far ............ the best option is the one that the owner/operator likes

You use EMT pipe Kevin?
Nope, steel round tube, 0.065” wall thickness

OK. Good...EMT is too hard and too thick to weld on the thin muffler metal I think.

Have you tested a square hole in the front/front deflector vs your muffler design with the pipes with both having the same outlet area to see if one idled or tuned better? Would be interesting to see the outcome.
I just ran the 346, and she gained some 8-9 hundred rpm over the original Dual port, side exit muffler modded version. I’ll be putting her in wood when this rain stops. Not much louder at all either. Anyone wanna guess how she’s going to be doing whilst cutting under a load ?
