She got a little workout with the carbide chain, of which, has some pretty good bite. Will see how long her aggression lasts, rakers at 0.035” - 0.040”.

Muffler mod works great, didn’t breathe in much exhaust at all, and she’s got a much less obnoxious exhaust note to her than the usual gut the tube and out the front, deflector in the stock location, muffler mods.

A 2511 that @dall tigged a SS pipe on for me.

Got creative with this Poulan Pro Super 380. McCulloch deflector and I made custom stand offs inside on the lathe, that replaced the baffle.

Most mufflers I see with brazed or welded tubes just look silly to me. But that extension on that 2511 is well done and is actually practical.
The poulan looks nice as well. I'm a fan of louvres for exhaust on a chainsaw. I try to add mine as closely in line with the cylinder exhaust port as possible.

A MS 440 with a spot welded @Red97 medium deflector and a pull out screen. A Hyway front cover once again.

Different ways to skin these cats.
Both have the original outlet enlarged.
Both perform well.
