I appreciate that you split the muffler open to show us inside. Wish Husky just made it easier to do, like the old 2-series muffs.
The newer 572 muffler is wayyyyyyy easier than the 562/550 muffler. Took me like 15 minutes. Screen was put back in. 68AA8CA5-0849-4137-98F8-49F20D6417E6.jpeg5034785B-E237-4C8B-9204-72B5D8B37065.jpeg A10ECAD5-4DE3-42B5-AA5E-9A6DEDF71CB2.jpeg
There’s only a small gain in speed, but the torque gain is noticeable by feel. Didn’t get much louder either, just changed the tone a bit.

That's awesome! I just bought a setup also! Mine might be 30 or 40 years older than yours though!
Lol. That just means yours might last longer. But anyways I need to get the tanks fiuld before I can start messing with it it's not going to be cheap even for the small tanks are around $40 to fill but it will be worth it I don't think I'll empty them to quick. Lol

Maybe! I went after mine because it had a brazing tip also! My tanks are tall and I was quoted $28 for the oxy bottle.

There's only one place here in town that can get my thanks fiuld or exchange there pricey but at the same time I'm not driving out of town spending money for fuel in my truck so it's a trade off. Lol

You’d be surprised, those baby oxy tanks don’t last long
