Maybe weld a pair of little flex shafts to the jet screws and locate them aiming upward between the carb box and pipe?with a tiny tool
ER70S2 and ER316LThe manufacture of Mapp gas went under. The only thing you can buy any more is MapPro which is propylene. Propane burns @ 2830° and propylene burns @ 3730° If you add oxygen you can bump those up a bit. What filler are you guys using for your tig welding?
You can't use propane to weld-you'll get hydrogen embrittlement. No sure on propylene. The manufacture of Mapp gas went under. The only thing you can buy any more is MapPro which is propylene. The reason I asked is ER70S6 sucks as a GTAW rod, and was wondering if that's what some of the issues people were having with porosity. I will also wirewheel about 95% of the flux off from the brazing rods, it makes it much easier and cleaner. For stainless I have been using ER308L and ER309L, is 316 that much better or just what you have?ER70S2 and ER316L
S6 rod has a lot more silicon when welding. 316 is what I got give to me.The reason I asked is ER70S6 sucks as a GTAW rod, and was wondering if that's what some of the issues people were having with porosity.
