He's got them just right.

I usually pry them open more, but on some Stihl's, they will hit the Brake. Sometimes I only pry the bottom open.

Plus, Joe's got a certain amount of awesomeness to himself. Knowing him and using his deflectors makes ones life and saw 32% better.

The ones on the solo are stainless and a little thicker. I need to open them up a bit but they are pretty stout

I only got a 31.8976689% gain with my last muff mod. Had to throw it in the recycle bin and start all over.

dave the one on my 290 is opened up alot more than that the oblong holes are connected plus the indention part is all opened also

I do that too but some ass wants 99.00 plus shipping for this sucker lol and i have drilled a 3/8 hole in the center recess towards the starter side before worked good.

Most guys don't realize how hard it is to lay down beads on these. They are loaded with impurities and are thin metal.

Think I've said it before but it's like trying to weld on dang marshmallows

I do prefer the exhaust exit to be in one location on the muffler as opposed to separate exits.
