I know the 500i has a little longer stroke and a bigger bore according to specs... but what is the port timing difference between the two stock? Just curious.

P61 started life with reeds but this one is modified pretty extensively

Gotcha - it sounds healthy - the motor is making some good compression.

No notes in front of me, but they're similar. More intake duration on a stock 500 iirc.

Don’t get too excited it was just pine. I’ve got another issue to work out with it on long cuts. That I didn’t have.....It’s starving for fuel after two or three cuts. I swear Im gonna sell this M’fer. I LOVE this saw but she’s been a cantankerous *b-word
