Locust Cutter
Air Force Redneck
I'd like to try one, but doubt I'd buy one even if I did like it. Too many other things I need and want right now. But, I do have a 372 to compare it to.
i am going to try and open up the muffler more and advance the timing and see if that helps.Just confirms what I always thought...441s are fuggin overweight dogs.
But dropping the rakers is harder on the cuttersI'd like to see comparisons of skip to full comp. In hardwoods, I prefer full comp. I also like a 7 pin rim, and would rather drop the rakers a bit instead of going to a larger pin. (I realize others have different opinions).
IMO, a slower chain creates less wasted friction, and less derails.
But dropping the rakers is harder on the cutters
Even Stihl chain gets hammered Mike ............ nails or rocks will kill just about anythingThat is why I run Stihl chain!!!
Jeff, is that the chain u threw?Quick question here. Is this Stihl chain .050 or .063?
The box says 33RS3 72. 20" 72DL .050.
When I measure it is shows .063. Could be why I could only make 2 cuts with my .050 bar. WTF!!!!

Drivers could be burred, causing it to stick.
